As regular visitors to Asheville from over the mountain in Johnson City, Tenn., my husband and I eagerly made many weekly trips to Asheville because of the excellent breads the Blue Moon Bakery provided. Unfortunately, since they closed their doors, we have been disappointed in most of the competition’s efforts at bread baking.
Blue Moon’s specialty breads such as the potato dill rank at the top of the bread-baking charts and are probably very difficult to duplicate. Is there any other bakery out there interested in retrieving these fabulous recipes from the former owners? If so, let us know where they are, as I’m sure a steady stream of customers is waiting to descend once the word gets out.
