Mountain Xpress responds

Nelda Holder's contributions are far from censored, and her personal views have not been silenced: Our June 19 cover story features her report on the recent sewage spill. It's an engaging read and shows her attention to detail and knowledge of a major local agency, the Metropolitan Sewerage District.

As for state legislative coverage, although Holder is not on staff with Xpress, it's our general policy that news writers not be involved in the people and issues they're reporting on.
