When we need to relieve ourselves, getting in and out of any bathroom is a quick chore. Incidences of crime are few and far between, and the few perpetrators are most often men. It’s the children, women and gender-variant people who are most at risk.
So instead of strictly “men” and “women” bathrooms, what if we redesignated the two choices to “men” and “anybody else” — aka “family” — with baby diaper changing tables, private urinals and gentility all around? And by the way, it is not uncommon in Europe and elsewhere that everyone uses common bathrooms.

You have obviously chosen to live your life as a gender transcendent person. You have that right as an American citizen. You do not have the right to tell those of us who disagree with your ideas that we have to accept your ideas in place of ours. The vast majority of American women do not want their public restrooms to be gender neutral. And likewise, the vast majority of men do not want their wives, daughters, mothers, and female friends to have to put up with gender neutral restrooms.
I predict a rise in ‘truckerbombs’- aka empty Gatorade bottles filled with pee on the side of highways near God fearin Christian towns in NC. If you pick up trash along highways for the state, I truly sympathize.
I suppose it’d be easier for you to pee in a bottle while driving (bad idea) while your entire family watches, because, well, you know, jesus.
Real ‘Muricans will just give up using public restrooms altogether, except for Larry Craig types who solicit for adult acts in all male restrooms.
Larry Craig (R, Idaho- retired) also owned up and plead guilty.
‘Muricans, you might want to avoid Europe and most other parts of the non ‘Murica world that I believe have unisex bathrooms yet somehow the children stay safe.
I’m all in favor of single-occupancy restrooms in public places. That does not solve the problems of the Charlotte ordinance, which removed sex discrimination language pertaining to common showers and locker rooms, both public and private.

1. The Charlotte ordinance was illegal and had to be explicitly corrected.
2. The Charlotte ordinance violated private property rights.
3. The Charlotte ordinance put women and girls at risk.

That needed “fixing.” HB2 fixed it.
Continue pretending this has anything to do with the points you mentioned, Tim. We’ll continue pretending to listen to you.
Thanks for not listening and for speaking for your group.

You’re very welcome.
Onward ye progressives.
Like your side has had anything to contribute but dogwhistles and tax cuts for the last 60 years. Get a message, then you can complain about the message of others.
A person’s gender is determined by biological facts, and not by some infinitesimal electrical construct within the brain developed by past deviant experiences. Any medical doctor or psychologist will validate this fact. All the liberal sickos in today’s society need mental health treatment plus guidance to develop skill sets that benefit society instead of the continued belief in warped views that lead to its degradation.
There are already laws against assaulting anyone anywhere. Bathrooms aren’t exempt from those laws, so there wasn’t a need for another law. And if it was really about bathrooms, why on earth did they write in that localities can’t establish a minimum wage? Don’t forget this is the same legislature that is still, actively, trying to steal our water system and passed a local law, which is against the state constitution, to that effect.

What’s up with the GOP and gay male sex scandals?
Yea, bathrooms and freedom.
The GOP sounds like Catholic priests trying to keep the kids safe.
Wouldn’t a law keeping the GOP out of restrooms be more appropriate than HB2?
For those having trouble interpreting additions, modifications and excisions in a law.
