Religion is mental illness…can we talk about THAT? Most people who claim to talk to an invisible being living in the sky will be sent to a mental hospital or psych floor for evaluation.
Uh oh.
I prefer not to think of it as an illness per se, but rather an alternative lifestyle choice.
So Martin Luther King was mentally ill?
MLK practiced what he preached. Modern religious icons are just as ignorant and divisive as the rest of the KKK.

How about Rev. William Barber? Jimmy Carter? Barack Obama? Desmond Tutu? Helen Prejean?
Your blanket statement skirts awfully close to bigotry.
