Xpress wins four state advertising design awards

The North Carolina Press Association recently honored Mountain Xpress with four state awards for outstanding ad design. Here’s a look at some of the award-winning designs.

1st Place, Best Color Restaurant/Entertainment Ad: “Local Taco – Now Open,” by John Zara

1st Place, Best Color Retail Ad: “Echoview Fiber,” by John Zara

1st Place, Best Color Home Furnishings and Appliances Ad: Mobilia – Full Page,” by Sarah Riddle

In addition, Xpress won 3rd Place in the Best Advertising Campaign category for “Classified Ad Series,” also by Zara.
