So you’ve registered (hopefully), studied the candidates and issues (by reading Xpress), and tomorrow it’s time to cast the ballot. But where do you go?
The state Board of Elections provides this site, which lets you enter some of your information then tells you where your polling station is. It even provides maps and pictures of the location.
Remember, if you have moved but not updated your registration with a new address, you need to pick up a form at your old polling location and take it to your new precinct (a quick call to the Buncombe County Board of Elections — 250-4200 — can get you the right location.)
Polls will be open from 6:30 a.m. to 7:30 p.m.
