Asheville Mayor Terry Bellamy will give her State of the City address on Tuesday, April 3 at 5 p.m. According to a press release by the city, the speech will focus on on public safety, growth and improving the quality of life for Asheville families.
Bellamy is also expected to touch on highlights and accomplishments from the past year.
The address will take place in Council Chambers, which fills up fast. Seating is first come, first served, and there will be a closed-caption viewing room, but you can watch it from the comfort of your couch by tuning in to the Asheville Channel 11.
Xpress will be there, so look for the details here on Wednesday.
