Biting your nails in anticipation of today’s primary-election results? Two possible remedies for your election anxiety: Check out the results online, and party.
There’s a very simple way to check in and track the progress of the primary. The polls close at 7:30 p.m., so don’t expect to hear anything before then. Once it gets a little later, go to this link. Then, click on either “Election Results Totals” or “Election Results by Precinct.” Voila! Instant curiosity satisfaction, as you’ll be able to see the results as they are tallied. Keep in mind that it ain’t over, however, until the final tallies are announced.
Perhaps a more fun way to deal with the pressure is to knock back a few with your fellow candidate-supporters. More on how to do that here, where you’ll find info on some of the candidate parties.
Kudos to the folks at the Buncombe County Board of Elections for their hard work today! And hang in there, Asheville City Council candidates — you’ll know soon enough.
