Folks didn’t buy it when several of us were saying public access was the tip of an iceberg. It was not by accident that one of the most vocal opponents of public access was placed on the BOD, (Board of Directors) by the County and subsequently became Chairman of the BOD …and watched quietly while it was run into the ground. (see link below)
Chairman Gantt and other commission members and Ms. Greene were well informed of stipulations in the management agreement that were not being followed. Issues a well run Board with a concerned Chairman would have addressed from the beginning of Public Access being open, to insure it’s longterm viability and a secure future.
