Mountain Moral Monday kicks off today, Aug. 5, at 5 p.m. in downtown Asheville at Pack Square Park as participants seek to highlight “the abuse of power and cruel policies coming out of the N.C. statehouse,” according to organizers. And both supporters and opponents are taking to Twitter to report on the event and make their views known.
