Hendersonville’s Fresh Market will celebrate a grand re-opening Saturday after completing renovations of several of the store’s departments. The location is now more spacious, and offers a wider variety of products. The Fresh Market also confirmed what’s been rumored for months: A new store will open in the former Harris Teeter location on Hendersonville Road in south Asheville.
Though the store has been open throughout the months of the remodeling, the renovations are finally complete, and the store will celebrate with live music, games for kids and food samples. In addition, the store will offer a number of discounted products and special deals. The festivities will begin tomorrow at 11 a.m., ending at 5 p.m. at the Hendersonville Fresh Market location at 223 Greenville Highway.
The Fresh Market chain, which started in Greensboro, is continuing to expand throughout the state of North Carolina. The grocer recently announced another store opening in Asheville. This will be the Fresh Market’s twelfth location in North Carolina. The Asheville expansion is expected to open next year, in the Parkway Center at 1378 Hendersonville Road.
“The Fresh Market is always on the lookout for markets where shoppers appreciate high-quality food and outstanding customer service,” said Michelle Patterson, the Store Manager of the Hendersonville Fresh Market. “Both Hendersonville and Asheville are just such places. The Fresh Market looks forward to expanding its service throughout these communities in North Carolina as well as providing residents with a distinctive shopping experience.”
