Downtown Asheville under snow: photos ***Updated 5:02 p.m. Monday***

Downtown’s landmarks and streets were transformed by the snowstorm yesterday. Despite patches of ice and snow drifts, Ashevilleans turned out to enjoy (or brave) the second major snow fall in an unusually cold winter.
