Consultants will present the long-awaited Downtown Master Plan at Council’s May 12 meeting.
The city’s project manager, Sasha Vrtunski, says Goody Clancy representatives will make the presentation, but that Council will most likely not take any formal action apart from accepting the plan. A public hearing and Council deliberation won’t take place until the May 26 meeting, Vrtunski said.
The same day, the consultants are expected to give a preview of the master plan presentation at a 9 a.m. meeting of the Downtown Commission and the Downtown Master Plan Advisory Committee at the Office of Economic Development (29 Haywood St.).
