In it, he notes that “the Planning and Zoning Board plays a very important role in our city’s development review process,” and says that “in retrospect, I wish I’d done the vote a little differently and asked for a discussion period rather than simply going around and naming our choices. The learning curve is an unforgiving mistress.”
At the Council meeting, as Smith notes in his post, he voted for Mark Brooks and Joe Minicozzi to sit on the board. Brooks was voted in; Minicozzi wasn’t.
