When the Buncombe County Board of Commissioners meets on Tuesday, April 3, the most significant business will be a report by Planning Director Jon Creighton concerning the Stormwater Ordinance enacted last September.
Creighton will discuss applications accepted or rejected and other developments under the new law, hiring of new staffers, public-education efforts and goals for the future.
In other business, commissioners will discuss Tax Increment Financing policy and appointment of a Judicial Facilities Task Force, which will plan for expansion of court facilities in coming decades.
The board meets in the Buncombe County Courthouse at 4:30 p.m., with a work and public-comment session beginning at 4 p.m. Read the full agenda here.
