Buncombe zoning: Radio debate today on WWNC-570

A week before the Buncombe County Board of Commissioners holds a public hearing on plans for zoning in the county, two key players in the zoning debate will appear on local talk-show host Matt Mittan‘s program.

Today Mittan’s show, which airs from 3 to 6 p.m. every weekday on WWNC-570 AM, will host Board Chairman (and zoning opponent) Nathan Ramsey in the 4 o’clock hour. Then, at 5 p.m., Board member (and zoning proponent) David Gantt will join in the discussion.

Helping to inform the dialogue will be Xpress staff writer Cecil Bothwell, a veteran of the Buncombe beat.
