Bobby Medford’s release conditions

Former Sheriff Bobby Medford was released from Caldwell County jail on Jan. 22 to house arrest until his March 25 trial. The full list of his release conditions can be read at the Xpressfiles.

The extensive set of conditions includes prohibitions on cellphones, meeting with or contacting former or current law-enforcement officers, among several others. Medford also cannot leave the home unless previously approved by federal authorities for visits to his doctor or lawyer.
