Media mashup to converge on Rocket Club this Saturday

Area bloggers have gotten together (in person) before, and it’s always revealing when it happens. But this time, other local media mainstays will join in, notably radio upstarts WPVM  and Internet/media reformer Mountain Area Information Network.

This Saturday’s meetup, at the Rocket Club on Haywood Road in West Asheville, will begin at 7 p.m. and looks to be a potential powerhouse of local media, fueled by beer and pizza. For more info, check out BlogAsheville’s announcement.

  1. What do you mean by “it’s always revealing when it happens”? We’re not exactly the group of folks you want to have dressing in a revealing manner. We do tend to reveal our opinions. Unfortunately, I have a previous engagement, so I won’t be revealing anything at the Rocket Club this Saturday, but I’m hoping you all will blog the heck out of the meeting.
