Blog Log: The week in local blogging

What in the world is going on out there? Bloggers (and their family members) all over town continue to get injured.

First, Blue Ridge Blue Collar Girl’s Blue Ridge Blue Collar man slices his finger open, then Girl Named Boo gets her lips busted by a softball. Now, Pancho over at Pancho’s Villa has gone and fallen off a porch. Let’s be careful out there folks.

Speaking of safety, My Weaverville says bears have been coming around and has these tips. And if you happen to take part in the Naked Bike Ride, please at least wear a helmet. Also, Skippy Haha has this to say in case you happen to ride up on the police in your birthday suit.

Checking in with other bloggers, So Much for Tact has the skinny on a chunky super hero in Morganton, and What the Hell? has these thoughts about gay marriage.

Fliss over at Hangover Journals wants friends at her new Facebook page, though she’s doing pretty well judging by the list posted at Liminal Screeds.

Congrats to Kilgore Trout at Asheville Beer Blog for one year of hosting, and to Ephemera for 200,000 page views. Any other milestones out there?
