With the fast pace of Asheville’s development and the city’s ongoing water-line improvement project, street closures in Asheville have become a common inconvenience.
Now, the city of Asheville is going online to help drivers, pedestrians and affected businesses get a leg up on upcoming street closures. A report, updated daily, lists the location, work description and duration of the closure, and is updated based on the approval of closures by the city’s Transportation and Engineering Department. Click here to go to the new page.
Not included in the spreadsheet are closures on state-owned, Department of Transportation-maintained roads. That info can be found here.

too bad I can not copy and paste from the spread sheet they have posted so we can really get the word out.
Ummm….what part of copy and paste are you having trouble with?
I selected all of it and pasted it into both Word and Excel just fine. Maybe you need a computer class.
