The nation at large is having to take a good hard look at its economic situation, so why should Asheville be any different? City Council will hear about the state of the city’s economy, along with reports on the city’s budget and strategic-operating plans, at its upcoming work session.
Also, look for a report on the city’s citizen survey mailed out this past summer, and Council looks like it will discuss its water relationship with Henderson County following a meeting with Henderson commissioners last Friday.
And with a new state and federal legislative session coming next year, Asheville is also taking a look at its legislative-request priorities.
Council meets at on Tuesday, Nov. 18, at 3 p.m. on the second floor of Asheville City Hall. For the complete agenda, go here.
