Council’s work session this Tuesday, May 20, will include an update on the 2006 ordinance prohibiting sex offenders in city parks, and City Attorney Bob Oast will brief Council on a possible statewide moratorium on city-initiated annexation currently being considered in Raleigh.
Council member Holly Jones will give a presentation on nonprofits’ involvement in elections, and fellow member Carl Mumpower will propose local actions for immigration issues.
