The Crowne Plaza Resort is looking to expand in a big way, adding 364,700 square feet, but the level III project will require a public hearing and consideration by Asheville City Council.
Council will also consider a long-awaited path that connects Amboy Road Park and Carrier Park through the former Edaco site on Amboy Road.
And Council members Robin Cape and Brownie Newman will propose that Council petition the N.C. General Assembly for the ability to provide low-interest loans to property owners wanting to install energy-efficient features to their homes.
Asheville City Council meets on the second floor of City Hall at 5 p.m. For the complete agenda, go here.
