The Asheville Police Department has released surveillance photos of two individuals suspected of breaking into a car downtown.
The announcement from the APD reads as follows:
ASHEVILLE – On 12-20-11 at approx. 7:00 pm, APD Officers responded to 31 Woodfin St., in Downtown Asheville; in reference to a vehicle that had been broken into. During the break-in the suspects stole a Garmin GPS device as well as the victim’s purse and numerous credit cards.
Before the victim could cancel her cards, the suspects went on a spending spree in the West Asheville area, making purchases totaling over $300.00 dollars.
