Mountain Xpress and Sherwood’s Music are partnering to showcase local musicians through a series of stripped-down performances for the web. To kick off our series, Elijah Wyman of Decent Lovers performed “SHOOT THEM. EAT THEM,” a yet-to-be-released track.
Decent Lovers is both the moniker of Wyman’s solo performance and an autoharp-fronted pop band whose members include Thomas McNeely, Arlie Huffman, and Miles Britton. Both Wyman and McNeely no longer live in Asheville (though McNeely returns frequently as one-half of melodic noise-rockers Albert Adams), but you can catch Decent Lovers in their final show in their current incarnation at the Moog Factory on Wed., Jan 8, as part of the AHA AVL series.
