Soul & Americana trio The Mobros (based in Charleston, S.C.) returned to Asheville and joined local, country-Motown supergroup, Sweet Claudette to lead a jam-packed night of music at Isis Restaurant & Music Hall. Sweet Claudette is composed of members The Honeycutters, The Moon And You and solo artist Dulci Ellenberger.
It was a great showcase of soul, blues, folk and Motown, rounded out with energetic rock/blues/soul trio, The High Definitions from Columbus, Ohio, and one-man band PK Gregory from Cottonwood, Ariz., who opened the show with his self-described “honkabilly blues.”
