Halloween costumes aren’t just for people anymore! Increasingly, pet caretakers are dressing up their furry family members and taking them out on the town for this spooktacular holiday. Just in case you need some Halloween inspiration for your feline or Fido, we reached out to local animal rescue organizations and local business owners to showcase some creative Halloween pet costumes in this special slideshow. Once your four-legged friends have their holiday disguise, don’t forget that you can support local animal rescues on Halloween by taking your pets out to benefit events like the Howl-O-Ween Walkathon at Carrier Park (benefitting Brother Wolf) or the Howl-O-Ween Pet Parade in Downtown Black Mountain (benefitting Asheville Humane Society).
