With nearly a decade on the local scene, Underhill Rose has carved out its place among the very best bands in Asheville. The duo of Eleanor Underhill and Molly Rose released three studio albums and one live album in that time and all have been met with critical acclaim.
There’s just one more chance to catch the band onstage this year — at The Masonic Temple on Saturday, Sept. 1, at 7 p.m.
Ahead of that show, Underhill Rose gave a special three-song performance (with Mike Rhodes on drums) at The Grey Eagle for Xpress and Acoustic Asheville. It includes a cover of a classic Bruce Hornsby song and was filmed with assistance from Silas Durocher of The Get Right Band.
