Blending her love of music across many genres with her passion for literature, local singer-songwriter Sarah Tucker creates a simple yet beautiful folk sound all her own.
Since winning The Brown Bag singer-songwriter competition in 2011, at the age of 16, Tucker has since released two solo records on her own. She’s played numerous stages around the region and has an upcoming show at the WXYZ Bar at the Aloft Hotel on Thursday, April 20, at 8 p.m.
Ahead of that show, Tucker performed four songs at The Grey Eagle exclusively for Xpress and Acoustic Asheville.
“Cry Baby”
“Get on that Train”
“The Windowsill Girl”
“Sweet September”
