The name Phantom Clutch may not ring a bell on the local music scene yet, but you’ve probably seen one or more members of the band in other groups. Singer/guitarist Ryan Furstenberg can usually be spotted fronting The Moon & You with his wife, Melissa Hyman. Bassist Andrew Platt and dobro player Jackson Dulaney are regularly found playing with Chris Jamison.
The trio recently played four songs exclusively for Xpress and Acoustic Asheville. Among the offerings is a country folk rendition of a famous Michael Jackson song.
