There are many textures and layers to the music of Lavender Blue. It feels almost simplistic because of the understated singing of frontwoman/project mastermind Kayla Zuskin. She makes her presence felt with an ethereal sound combined with a playful nature to her music.
Lavender Blue recently released the record Dusk, which can be found on digital outlets everywhere.
On a recent rainy day, Zuskin and pedal steel player Mike Johnson got together at Ambrose West to play three songs exclusively for Xpress and Acoustic Asheville.
