In the eight months since releasing a debut album, the Christy Lynn Band is turning heads within the local music community. The group features the distinctive, powerhouse vocals of Christy Barrett, multi-instrumentalist Ryan Schilling and Kenan Hopkins on fiddle. The band has played some of the larger local stages in a very short period of time.
You can catch the Christy Lynn Band in concert at The Asheville Opry at The Masonic Temple on Saturday, Aug. 18, with Devils in Dust and Alexa Rose also on the bill.
Ahead of that concert, the band gave an exclusive performance at The Grey Eagle featuring two songs from its album.

Ever wondered what might happen if so called music writers for the Mtn X simply posted
a video and let us unwashed peasants make up our own minds without the unwanted fluff clickbait fishing??
Answer- a lot more $ in a band’s tip jar but less clickbait for warmed over freelance bloggers.
