Ben Stalets was a musician without a genre, so he came up with his own: country Midwestern. The Toledo, Ohio, native tends to fly between folk, Americana and a bit of alt-country, but he’s getting noticed for doing his own thing.
While on tour through the South recently, Stalets stopped in Asheville solely to play for Xpress and Acoustic Asheville. The session was shot on the patio at The Grey Eagle and the quartet of original songs can be seen below.
