Created by LUNA Whole Nutrition Bars in 2000, the traveling short film festival celebrates women filmmakers. The local stop doubles as a fundraiser for Girls on the Run through a silent auction featuring more than $2,500 in items donated by local businesses. The Conquest of Canaan features a recorded score commissioned by local film historian Frank Thompson from silent film accompanist Jon Mirsalis. Thunder-Bolts of Fate includes live piano accompaniment by Marc Hoffman. Thompson will introduce the films and participate in a post-screening discussion.
