Sunny days and cool mountain temperatures for the upcoming bike events. There will be cycling of all skill levels including The Hawk a Century, a metric Century, The Trout (a 40 mile ride), The Panther (a 24 mile ride), and The Rabbit, also a Century ride that will go through 30 miles on the scenic Blue Ridge Parkway.
Registration is required, to do so you can either Pre register online at www.blueridgebreakaway.com, or Register on site of race, from 6:00 to 6:30 a,m, early registration discounts are available, or you can mail the entry form and payment to Haywood County Chamber of Commerce P.O. Box 600, Waynesville, NC 28786, postmarked by August 16. The events will be on August 20th, 2011, all routes will start from Lake Junaluska Conference and Retreat Center.
