We’ve got new local releases on our minds, from Jeff Santiago y Los Gatos Negros’ recent project, Rolling Towards the Moon, to Alarm Clock Conspiracy’s Harlequin, which drops later this week. Also in the mix, new material from Hello Hugo, an excellent cover from RBTS WIN, a blast from the past by Hector’s Nectar, and a song from Seth Kauffman’s pre-Floating Action days.

• “Harlequin,” the title track from the new album by indie-rockers Alarm Clock Conspiracy. They’ll play Highland Brewing Co. on Friday, Aug. 22.
• “I Bleed Easy,” from Research by Seth Kauffman. That 2007 album is set for a vinyl re-release. Kauffman’s Floating Action plays a record launch show for new album Body Questions, at The Grey Eagle on Saturday, Aug. 23.
• “Stay Awhile” from Rolling Towards the Moon, the new album by indie-rockers Jeff Santiago y Los Gatos Negros.
• “An Ode to an Orange Chair” by experimental instrumental outfit Hello Hugo off that band’s new album, Motorcycle Milkman.
• “Fireflies” by Hector’s Nectar, the experimental lounge project of Ben Gibbs, who went to form the solo project Goddess.
• “There is a Light,” a cover of the Morrissey song by local electro-soul group RBTS WIN, off their album Palm Sunday.
