Even though the weather is getting cooler, the YMI Cultural Center is turning up the heat with the “Stylishly Hot”-themed Ebony Fashion Fair. Now in its 49th year, the annual event benefits the YMI’s programs with an evening of haute models strutting the latest fashions. Tickets run $25 and include a year’s subscription to Ebony or six months to Jet and a chance to win airline tickets, a 2007 Ford Edge, hair products and cosmetics. The Fashion Fair takes to the runway at The Orange Peel on Wednesday, Nov. 1, at 7 p.m. Info: 252-4614.
