Doing quadruple duty, the Pizza PanDemonium (now in its second year) offers pizza, beer, music and fashion, all while benefitting The Appalachian Angels and Eblen Charities.
Held at Highland Brewing’s new event center on Sunday, May 15 from 5:30 to 9:30 p.m., the party includes a gourmet pizza cook-off (contestants were selected by a social media vote) along with music from Kendra Warren, Andalyn Lewis, The Hank West Band and a rising country star surprise guest. But the featured event is the Wonderland Fashion Fantasy, an Alice in Wonderland-themed runway show. The spectacle “boasts over 30 models who will be walking the stage in stunning designs with professional hair and makeup styling,” says a press release. “The designs will represent a twist on the famous characters from Lewis Carroll’s iconic novel. The fashion show is directed by Ginger Wilde and assisted by Sarah Merrill.”
VIP tickets are $30 and include preferred seating, complimentary pizza and three craft beers from Highland Brewing. General admission is $17 in advance / $20 at the door.
