Lake Eden Arts Festival announces a spooky, rootsy, psychedelic-laced lineup for Fall 2013 LEAF. There’s a major nod to New Orleans, with Dr. John & The Night Trippers headlining along with LEAF alums Zap Mama (Afrobeat by way of Belgium) and Vieux Farka Toure (Afrobeat royalty from Mali), along with local roots-rockers Acoustic Syndicate who multi-task with an album release party.
A press release describes the 37th LEAF as a “unique blend of voodoo mysticism, funk, rhythm & blues, psychedelic rock and Creole roots.” dates are Thursday-Sunday, Oct. 17-20.
