Asheville Community Theatre announces the return of its costume sale. While the sale is not exactly seasonal or even annual — it’s “every now and again,” according to the blogpost — but it’s still eagerly anticipated. Because here, hopeful costume hunters have lucked into “vintage marching band uniforms, graphite Edwardian morning coats, and tiny hats that look exactly like birds’ nests.” And more. Much more.

The Saturday, March 17 event runs from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. at 35below. Up for grabs: “Hats – from Easter Parade confections to sensible straw boaters; Dresses – from caftans to evening wear; Specialty – own a piece from Chicago; Other – coats, sleepwear, wedding gowns, and other eclectic pieces.”

And because it’s St. Patrick’s Day, check out our ‘Wearin’ of the Green’ Saint Patty’s Day rack.
