Not to be confused with uber-cute Jonathan Taylor Thomas of Home Improvement fame, Jonathan Tyler Jonathan Tyler & Northern Lights fame is a very different kind of cute. It’s slightly-menacing, bed-head and aviators, tattoos and Southern rock kind of magnetism. Tyler, from Dallas, is (according to his bio), reuniting “rock with its oft-forgotten prodigal twin, the roll — with papa blues and mama soul along for the ride, too.”

Jonathan Tyler & Northern Lights play Pisgah Brewing on Saturday, Nov. 12. 9 p.m., $8 in advance (buy tickets here) or $10 day of show. UPDATE: This is now a free show.
