Steel pan artist/Road warrior Jonathan Scales has been racking up highway miles across the southeast lately. He and his Fourchestra have played about 70 dates since February, with only a handful of those engagements taking place on local stages. But Scales (who just announced that he and his band will be part of Merlefest next spring) will be in Asheville this weekend.
