Sound Check: Nikki Talley

Singer-songwriter Nikki Talley and her husband and bandmate Jason Sharp bought a Chevy van early this year, thanks to a successful Kickstarter campaign. Read about that here.

The couple have now been on the road for more than seven months, though they occasionally make it back to Asheville. This week is one of those times. Talley and Sharp perform at The Altamont Theatre this Friday, Aug. 10 (8 p.m., $10 in advance and $12 day of show) and at RiverFest on Saturday, Aug. 11 (which is also Talley’s birthday).
