Open Letter Music series continues

The Open Letter Music Series, curated by Asheville guitarist Shane Perlowin, returns to BoBo Gallery on Saturday, July 21, 9 p.m.

The lineup for the evening includes New York/Chicago-based free jazz trio Tres Hongos (Jacob Wick on trumpet, Frank Rosaly on drums and Marc Riordan on piano).

 

Xambuca (“not limited to any particular style or category of music and would like to establish that it not be limited to the confines of musical categorization”), whose collective includes former Asheville artist Megan McKissack on visuals, also performs, as does a duo made up of Perlowin with Jason DeCristofaro (vibraphone, xylophone, marimba, timpani, percussion).
