Miss Tess and the Bon Ton Parade performed a just-learned version of Chuck Berry’s 1955 hit, “Maybelline.” (That song was formerly the hillbilly standard “Ida Red.”) The Friday, March 20 show at Jack of the Wood also included three sets of mostly-original songs by the Boston-based “modern vintage” swing quartet.
