At long last, Terpsicorps has a home. The local troupe has been the theatrical dance equivalent of a couch-surfer for the past four years, although they’ve long aimed at having their own dedicated rehearsal space. The company will move into the Wedge Building in early May, and has high hopes that a still-forming team of volunteers will rise to the challenge of helping them convert the space to a usable studio.
Thankfully, Terpsicorps’ needs appear to be fairly simple, with jobs ranging from picking up trash and carrying heavy objects to more complicated tasks like installing track lighting and barres. Interested do-gooders should contact Artistic Director Heather Maloy.
