Lovett has a special Valentine for his fans. It’s the launch of the video “HRTATTK” for his song “Heartattack.” For Asheville listeners it’s an extra-special treat, since the video was filmed in Asheville. At Echo Mountain. With a cast of local musicians and singers and dancers in prom attire.
Learning about Lovett is kind of tricky. The guy behind the name (Ben Lovett) seems to keep a low profile. His most forthcoming bio is at TheMusebox where, if you read all five paragraphs, you’ll learn Lovett is a family name that his grandfather said he could use. Here’s what else we know: Ben Lovett is a Taurus, he lives in Athens, Georgia, he’s the founder of record label Lovers Label and he won “Best Score” at the Brooklyn International Film Festival for his work on The Last Lullaby.
