Asheville (by way of Burlington, VT) singer-songwriter, Matt Townsend, recently made his first music video. Tariq Zeidan, a local filmmaker, directed the moody visual for “Desire Like a Lion.” It was filmed around Asheville — a kind of non-linear walking tour set to Townsend’s thoughtful lyrics and lithe, rhythmic fingerstyle guitar.
The song is from the forthcoming album, Matt Townsend and the Wonder of the World. Contribute to the release of that project through Townsend’ Indiegogo Campaign. Ten-percent of funds raised will be donated to Arts for Life, a nonprofit organization that provides art therapy to those suffering from illness or disabilities.
