The 2012 installment of Asheville’s Big Love Fest is almost upon us. The day-long event of music, arts, food vendors and more is set for Sunday, May 6 (1-8 p.m.) in Pack Square Park.
Want to do more than just hang out? The festival is accepting vendor application through Thursday, March 22 from artists and crafters, food booth and businesses. Application fee is $10, booth spaces run $95 for a single vendor, $115 for a shared booth, $160 for a single food vendor and $175 for a food truck space. Find the vendor application here.
But wait, there’s more! A note from the festival organizers: “And this year we have even more to celebrate! In recognition of the natural connection between the local economy, our vibrant community and our schools, we’re partnering with the Asheville City Schools Foundation through the Go Local Card program. Look for the Love Asheville – Go Local Card offers throughout the festival!”
The lineup includes: Kovacs and the Polar Bear, Floating Action, Pleasure Chest and The Decent Lovers. Plus, “This year Asheville FM, our fair city’s newest, non-profit, community radio station is joining hands with the Big Love Festival. They will be hosting a stage jam-packed with local musicians and DJs ushering in summer with the piping hot sounds of sonic wow!”
