Although LAAFF will not take place this year, two other festivals will fill downtown with revelry in September.
On Saturday, Sept. 14, the inaugural CCX Music Fest brings 10 artists from North and South Carolina. In celebration festival promoter QC Productions has released 10-song sampler. Performances take place at Emerald Lounge and The LAB:

Tickets to both venues, all night, are $8 in advance and $10 at the door. Purchase tickets here.
And, Big Love Festival, which was rained out in May, returns on Sunday, Sept. 15. It will be the third annual Big Love, held in Pack Square Park. The lineup and vendor list is still in the works.
